In January 2021, Pam Grogan, founder and Board President of the Nehemiah Charitable Fund, transitioned from her position on the board to become the organization’s full-time Chief Executive Officer. Before this role, Ms. Grogan served as a fundraising development manager at Coachella Valley Housing Coalition from 2018, where she successfully secured over $1.5 million in funding for affordable housing projects, residential services, homeownership counseling, and financial education workshops.
Pam brings over 20 years of experience as a professional fundraiser and nonprofit management consultant, providing capacity building training, strategic planning and fundraising services to numerous nonprofit organizations. Pam has raised over $7 million for nonprofits throughout her career. She has also served as Development Director for prominent organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Redlands, Center for Community Action & Environmental Justice (CCAEJ) and Coachella Valley Housing Coalition (CVHC).
Although Pam is well known for her achievements working with established and financially stable nonprofits, her career began as a consultant. In that role, she earned a strong reputation for helping small, often start-up, grassroots organizations secure six-figure funding. Many of these groups—like Time for Change Foundation, Young Visionaries Youth Leadership Academy, Community Health Action Network, and Power Speaks Louder—have since become some of the region’s leading nonprofits.
